Printing and handling guidelines
Store at room temperature (17-23°C), at a relative humidity of 50%, from 24 to 48 hours before use.
Unwrap the paper only at the last moment before printing and rewrap it immediately after the print run.
For re-cutting:
- keep the paper fibre direction (// to the large size) perpendicular to the printing direction.
- for grammages > 135 g/m², plan a rejection cut.
For litho printing:
• Large printed surface :
under colour-removal recommended.
• Intense full colours :
- for black colour, blue support (40%)
recommended or two black sequences.
- for other colours, 1 or several colour support(s)
Printing techniques:
• Gloss & Silk: guaranteed for litho printing, suitable for silk screen, suitable for most digital
press systems, including HP Indigo.
• Offset: Cold set web offset, heat set web offset, sheet fed offset. All inks suitable for uncoated
papers.
• Preprint: Cold set web offset, heat set web offset, sheet fed offset, laser printing. All inks
suitable for uncoated laser papers.
• Jet: Guaranteed for high-speed colour inket printing.
• Office: Suitable for use in mono and colour laser printing, copiers, fax machines, inkjet,
preprint and digital.
Finishing techniques:
• Gloss & Silk: foil blocking, embossing, lamination, all varnishing.
• Offset & Preprint: foil blocking, blind embossing, all varnishing.
• Office: foil blocking, embossing, lamination, all varnishing.
Suitable for perforating, drilling, die cutting.
• Folding: parallel to the paper fibre direction (// to the large size).
• Scoring : from 150 g/m², scoring with counterpart; from 200 g/m², larger scoring
needed on the back of the fold.
• Cutting : Ensure that the blade of the guillotine is sharp enough in order to avoid dust deposits.
Protect the paper against any risk of moisture during the storage period.
